On Saturday, March 23 the Street Kings Motorcycle Club held their 10th annual Ride for Soldiers event.Â
Various clubs met at the Veterans Guest House, which is a non-profit organization that helps veterans receive medical care and other needs.
Members of different clubs spent time with some of the veterans before the ride out.
Veterans Guest House says that they appreciate all of the help on days like this, because they receive no government funding.
"We depend on people just to philanthropically give us money, to donate to the guest house. These guys are a part of that, they donate everything they make here today. Nothing is kept for themselves," said Kathi Mcgathey, operations manager for Veterans Guest House.
Once the ride began, the group went to the Veterans Memorial at the Sparks Marina.
They held a moment of silence and paid respect to veterans who have passed away.
After that, the group went to Road Rider of Reno to have food, drinks, and take part in a raffle.
100% of the proceeds for the raffle went to the Veterans Guest House.
