The Sun Valley General Improvement District Water System has lifted the precautionary boil water order that was put into place on August 27.

Bacteriological test have indicated that E. coli and other coliform bacteria are not present in the sytem.

ORIGINAL STORY

A boil water order notice is in effect for parts of Sun Valley after the SGVID advised they had an eight inch water main break on Barrel Springs Drive on Wednesday morning.  

The Sun Valley General Improvement District on their website says they have several streets in the valley that needed to be isolated to repair the water main. 

The streets affected by the order are isolated to Barrel Springs Rd, Chimney Dr, Rams Horn Rd, Blackwood Rd, Round Top Rd, Lundy Rd, Dutch Flat Rd, 6200 Block of Leon Dr, 5900 Block of Middle Fork Dr, Union Mills Rd, Haas Ct, Amargosa Dr, Heritage Dr, Guildwood Dr, Lansing Dr, Bathurst Dr and Danforth Dr.

It is unknown at this time how long the order will be in effect.
