A teen girl is facing a dozen animal abuse-related charges after police say she stabbed three horses at a competition in Las Vegas.
Police say they learned that the horses had been intentionally stabbed inside a barn near the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center early Saturday morning.Â
Detectives identified the teenager as a suspect partly because she had access to the barn.
They haven't said who she is.
The horses are expected to be okay, but they likely won't be able to compete anytime soon.
