Three people are suspected of helping steal two semi-truck trailers full of more than $500,000 of cargo in Storey County.
Deputies say they were notified of the stolen two truck trailers from the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center on Thursday - and that's when they coordinated an investigation with the owner of the trailers.
With the help of the Sparks Police, deputies say they located the trailers in an industrial area within the city and then started to conduct surveillance.
The next day, deputies say they saw a semi-truck and car approach one of the stolen trailers, hook up to it, and then leave the area.Â
Sparks Police officers subsequently then conducted a traffic stop on the truck and car and arrested three people.Â
