Two people were arrested in Yerington on Tuesday on multiple charges, with one wanted on a felony warrant and both charged with possession of methamphetamine.
On September 2, around 2:30 p.m., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit carried out a search warrant at a home on Pete Hendrich’s Road in Yerington, according to a release from the LCSO.
In their search, detectives found Megan Franks hiding in a bedroom closet in the home.
Franks was wanted on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). She is now facing new charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing/delaying a peace officer.
A person described in the release as a resident tenant, Domenic Griffin, was also arrested at the scene on charges including harboring a felony offender, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Franks and Griffin were booked into the Lyon County Jail without incident.
Franks is being held on a bond of $4,780, and Griffin is being held on a bond of $6,140.
