Central Lyon County firefighters responded to a house fire on Yellow Jacket Road in Dayton.
It happened just before 2 p.m. Friday
Upon arrival, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies were already on scene evacuating residents from the property.
The fire resulted in damage to two homes. Fire crews worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
Central Lyon County crews received assistance from Carson and Storey County firefighters.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
