A U.S. Marshals violent offender task force has arrested a man in Reno wanted for a state probation violation.

Marshals say 30-year-old Austin Sensmeier was wanted for questioning "related to child abuse and neglect resulting in bodily harm or death by the Reno Police Department."

Marshals say they arrested Sensmeier on Nutmeg Place in Reno on Thursday on a state probation violation with an underlying charge of possession of a dangerous weapon.

Marshals say 29-year-old Tiara Jorgenson and 30-year-old Blanca Perez were also taken into custody for child abuse and neglect charges.

District of Nevada U.S. Marshal Gary Schofield stated, “This arrest demonstrates our commitment to tracking down violent offenders, especially those who harm children. There’s no hiding from justice."
