Uline will host a hiring event on Thursday, August 20, in Reno for people interested in warehouse positions, with hourly pay ranging from $26 to $34 depending on the shift.

The event will run from 4 to 6 p.m. and will include openings for first- and second-shift warehouse associates. Day-shift positions pay $26 to $32 an hour, while night-shift positions pay $28 to $34 an hour.

Uline also offers health coverage, other day-one benefits, on-site perks, training and career development opportunities, according to the company. The company said its average employee tenure is seven years and that it has received national and local recognition for its workplace culture and focus on employee growth.

The company is seeking team members as it continues to grow its market presence. Uline is a family-owned business founded in 1980 and describes itself as North America's leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials.

Uline has more than 10,000 employees across 15 branch locations and 17 sales offices. It provides same-day shipping from its in-stock inventory.

Two Uline managers are also available for interviews scheduled in advance, though interviews will not be conducted during the hiring event.

Michael Wainscott, warehouse manager, can discuss the hiring process, interview preparation, training and resources for new hires, as well as the warehouse's day-to-day operations.

Brian Wayer, Nevada branch manager, can discuss Uline's nationwide growth and expansion in Reno, the company's economic impact in the area, and health and retirement savings benefits available beginning on the first day of employment.
