To help maintain an adequate blood supply to support patients in a time of need, the University of Nevada Police Department (UNRPD) will compete in a friendly competition between other city and county law enforcement and fire agencies to see which agency can get the most blood donations on their agencies behalf.

Which Agency will you donate blood in the name of? 

UNRPD partnered with Vitalant in their 8th Annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, which will be held at Greater Nevada Field located at 250 Evans Avenue, on Tuesday, August 20th and Wednesday, August 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vitalant needs blood donations and every donation made helps to ensure blood supplies are available when patients need them, each donation can save up to three people's lives.Â
