In an online Facebook post, the City of Reno announced that Virginia Street between 1st and 2nd streets will be closed Monday.
The closure began at 5 a.m. and will continue through 5 p.m., as a crane will be lifting a rooftop chiller onto a nearby building.
Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs as crews work.
