The Wild Wild West Easter Egg Hunt in Carson City offered a free and fun event for children of all ages on Saturday.Â
There was a raffle as well with all of the proceeds supporting the Nevada Day Parade.
"Because it's exactly six months, roughly, away from the Nevada Day Parade and might as well do two things a year. It helps the community, it gets a whole bunch of the kids involved," says Avery Weyant, sports coordinator, Nevada Day Parade.
On top of the different egg hunts, the event also featured music, photo opportunities with the Easter bunny and other festive activities.
First responders also came out to the event to meet with some of the children and help educate the public.
