Wing Zone Hot Chicken & Wings will open its first Reno location on Tuesday, August 19 at 705 N. Virginia Street, Suite 120.

Known for its hot chicken and variety of sauces, the chain plans to celebrate the opening with free samples throughout the day and special deals, including six free wings with any $20 purchase and free fries with any $10 purchase.

The Reno franchise is owned by brothers Raj and Namit Rai.

Raj opened his first restaurant in 2018 after receiving personal support and investment from his mentor, Swami Yash Paul. Since then, he has expanded to operate 44 restaurants in and around the Reno area, with plans to grow to 100.

“Reno has been missing a great spot for flavorful, made-to-order chicken wings, and we’re excited to fill that gap,” said Raj. “For our family, every restaurant is more than a business. It’s a welcoming place for the community, a reflection of divine blessings, and a humble way to give back to those who support us.”

The menu features original and hand-breaded boneless wings marinated for at least 12 hours and cooked to order. Wing Zone offers four heat levels from plain to hot, dry rubs like Garlic Parm, Nashville Hot, Salt and Vinegar, and Lemon Pepper Tajin, and sauces including Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Korean BBQ, Thai Chili, Zone Sauce, and Louisiana Lemon Pepper.

Customers will be able to dine in or order online at wzhotchicken.com for pickup.

Wing Zone was founded in 1993 and operates more than 35 locations in North America and 60 internationally. The brand aims to reach 200 restaurants by 2025.
