Nevada Athletics GPA

Nevada student-athletes just turned in their strongest fall semester in the classroom.

The Wolf Pack posted the department’s highest Fall semester grade point average, finishing at 3.211 for Fall 2025.

It marks the second straight term above the 3.20 mark and continues a steady climb that has been building for more than a year.

That momentum started with a 3.147 GPA in Spring 2024, rose to 3.157 in Fall 2024, and kept going with a 3.278 in Spring 2025. The latest numbers show the trend is holding.

Fourteen Wolf Pack programs recorded team GPAs of at least 3.0 during the semester, the most since Spring 2023.

Women’s Golf once again led the way with a 3.803 team GPA. Women’s Tennis followed at 3.704, while Women’s Swimming and Diving finished at 3.636.

Women’s Soccer posted a 3.607, Women’s Cross Country came in at 3.594, and Ski finished at 3.588, all clearing the 3.5 mark.

“I am extremely proud of the efforts our student athletes make in the classroom, as reflected by the continued, semester-by-semester growth of our department GPA,” said Nevada Director of Athletics Stephanie Rempe. “Their development off the field is every bit as important as their development on it. [Associate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Services] Kim Gross and her staff continue to do exceptional work with our student athletes, and it shows—14 teams above a 3.0 GPA is an extraordinary achievement.”

Several programs have now reached or surpassed a 3.0 GPA in all 10 semesters since the return to in-person learning in Spring 2021. That list includes Women’s Golf, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Swimming and Diving, Women’s Tennis, Women’s Basketball, which posted a 3.325 in Fall 2025, Women’s Track and Field at 3.446, Softball at 3.148, Men’s Cross Country at 3.204, and Men’s Tennis at 3.197.
