ORIGINAL STORY (7/9/25, 11:55 a.m.):

During her hearing, Detective Claire Hoops-Adams, who's working on Dickinson's case, was called to the stand to answer questions.
Detective Hoops-Adams says her partner interviewed Dickinson but witnessed the entire event through her partner's bodycam footage.
During their interview, Dickinson originally said she didn't think she was disposing of a baby, but rather an "abnormal clump of her menstrual cycle". Authorities say she later admitted she knew it was a baby.
In another statement during her interview, authorities say Dickinson claimed she never even knew she was pregnant until she started to feel some pain around two to three in the morning, then felt a plop and noticed her umbilical cord was sticking out. She says she then pulled on it causing her to give birth in her toilet.
As the interview continued, authorities say Dickinson panicked and used a towel to pick up the baby out of the toilet, place the child in a garbage bag, went down to the dumpster, then placed the baby in the dumpster.
When Detective Hoops-Adams' partner asked Dickinson if she ever heard her baby cry during this event, Dickinson says she was in such a state of shock she was not paying attention to any type of noise, nor did she ever check the gender, or have any knowledge if the baby was breathing or moving.
Dickinson claims she was back in bed by 3 a.m.
Authorities say as the hearing continued, the court also learned that this is not the first time Dickinson has disposed of a child. And the first time, the baby did not live.
Detective Hoops-Adams says in that same interview, Dickinson admits to having a miscarriage and throwing away her fetus in a dumpster at a different apartment complex back in October of 2023.
Dickinson was never charged for this incident two years ago.
Dickinson currently has two children. One of her own and one shared with her current husband.
In the interview, Dickinson says she has no desire to have any more children due to financial reasons and says her family is living paycheck-to-paycheck.
Dickinson's attorney argues her bail should be set no more than the original $100,000 due to her financial struggles and a previous crime that has yet to be further investigated, however, Judge Chris Wilson ruled Dickinson as a danger to children and set her at the higher bail.
In addition to her bail conditions, Dickinson must not contact any children under the age of 18, including her own. She is also not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs, carry weapons or firearms, and remain under house arrest until further notice.
Dickinson's next hearing will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m..
