Nevada Donor Network, Special Olympics Nevada, and the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will honor Special Olympics athlete Zachary Cameron Green at the upcoming Guardian Games at Reed High School.
Green competed in the Special Olympics for 14 years in basketball, track and field, flag football, and bocce. He was known for his joyful spirit, radiant smile, and unforgettable hugs.
Following his death, Green donated his heart, lung, liver, kidneys, and corneas, a decision that helped save and improve lives.
The Guardian Games is a private event for Special Olympics Nevada athletes, local law enforcement officers, and program sponsors. It brings the groups together through friendly competition and shared experiences, fostering connection and support.
