A man in Jackpot, Nevada was arrested on Monday and faces charges of child endangerment and multiple counts of discharging a firearm.
Emigdio Sanchez-Aguilar, 36 years old, was arrested and his bail is $320,000.
On Monday night, the Elko County Sheriff's Office responding to a call at the Love's gas station in Jackpot, Nevada regarding shots fired in the area.
While deputies and troopers were in the area, they heard more shots being fired near the Spanish RV park.Â
Deputies were pointed towards a residence by a witness, allegedly finding many spent casings on the walkway.Â
A man, Sanchez-Aguilar, and a woman both came out from the residence and were detained by deputies.Â
The deputies say they found two small children in a room with a handgun. Sanchez-Aguilar was allegedly found to have ammunition in his pocket matching the spent casings on the ground and was arrested.
The Elko County Sheriff's Office says the woman and both children in the residence were not injured.
