Authorities say a 34-year-old man was arrested after allegedly starting several small fires in west Reno this past Friday.
Reno Fire Investigators say Clint Haris was seen by several witnesses starting small fires near Stoker Avenue.
According to investigators, Haris started at least two small fires around 5:20 p.m. Friday evening. Witnesses reported the fires to Reno Police who responded and eventually detained Haris.
Reno Fire says Haris has been directly connected to the blazes on Cemetery Road, however, investigators are still determining if Haris started a larger fire along I-80 near Keystone Avenue around the same time. That blaze was contained at less than an acre in size. One building was threatened but fire crews were able to protect it from damage.
