John Wayne Bragg, Sr.

Carson City deputies say they've arrested a man on a first-degree arson charge after a house fire on Poole Way late Sunday night. 

Deputies say 48-year-old John Wayne Bragg, Sr. was arrested on Tuesday evening. 

The home sustained heavy damage. 

Investigators from the Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office determined the cause of the fire was likely intentional.

No injuries were reported. 

Bragg Sr. is being held at the Carson City Jail on charges of Arson (1st Degree) on a $40,000 bond.
