Residents in Sun Valley have been seeing Mormon Crickets all over their streets and neighborhoods.

People say they can be difficult to get rid of, especially when the crickets climb all over walls and cars and hide in the bushes.

People that live on Cezanne Court say that a small army of crickets have been coming from a dirt hill right behind their neighborhood.

One woman says that when she has the time, her and some other neighbors do all they can to push them away from their homes.

"People behind me were walking around with their push broom. This morning, I was walking around my back yard, and I just carry a push broom with me as soon as they come close. They don't like people which is great because they get close to you or you come close to them, they run off," said Tracy Price.

Other neighbors say using bug spray all over their porch, garage and backyards has been limiting the number of Mormon Crickets on their homes.

One man we spoke with says he comes out during the day to spray water on his back fence, but that only works temporarily.

For people worrying about Mormon Crickets doing property damage, The Nevada Department of Agriculture recommends that people get a plastic cricket fence that seals into the ground.
