The Reno Fire Department, Reno Police Department, REMSA and NV Energy are on scene of a fire at a home on Susileen Drive in Reno.

According to Roger Mooney, Battalion Chief of the Reno Fire Department, crews responded to an outside fire that was blown by the wind into the home.

The cause of the fire is unknown at the time.

One adult was in the house when the fire started and was able to get out with no injuries. No personnel or animals were injured either.

The fire burnt a deck and some bushes outside the home before burning the side of the home and burning into a bedroom.

The Reno Fire Department wants to warn residents that fire danger is high at this time due to high winds. It asks that residents be careful with recreational activities that may cause a fire risk.
