“Widow’s Bay” has dominated at an early Emmys ceremony, winning eight awards for its debut season. The Apple TV horror comedy stars Matthew Rhys as a small-town mayor dealing with a curse. Betty Gilpin won best guest actress in a comedy for her role on the show. “The Pitt” also had a strong showing, winning four awards, including best guest actor in a drama for Ernest Harden Jr. Rob Reiner posthumously won his third acting Emmy for “The Bear.” “DTF St. Louis” and “Spider Noir” also won multiple awards. The two-night event will air Sept. 12 on FXX.
