Former President Bill Clinton has been checked into a hospital in Washington D.C. this afternoon.
An aide with the former president said that President Clinton was admitted for "testing and observation after developing a fever."
Angel Ureña, Clinton's deputy chief of staff, wrote on X, "President Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever. He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving."

Former President Clinton was last hospitalized in 2021 for a non-COVID-related urological infection.
The 78-year old Clinton did spend some time on the campaign trail this past election, stumping for Vice President Kamala Harris.
