The prosecution has resumed questioning its final witness in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial. The testimony was happening Wednesday for Clancy's trial on charges she killed her three young children in Massachusetts in 2023. FBI psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Saathoff has testified that he does not believe Clancy’s account that a voice ordered her to kill the children. The defense does not dispute that Clancy killed them but argues she should not be held criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Saathoff will be cross-examined by Clancy’s attorney after prosecutors finish questioning him. Closing arguments will follow.
