A powerful bomb has exploded at a mosque near police offices in northwestern Pakistan, killing at least 21 people and wounding at least 80. The attack occurred in Kohat, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and comes amid a surge in regional violence. Police say an attacker rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the mosque. Several armed gunmen also attempted to enter the police compound. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack and urged swift rescue operations.
