NDOC Inmate Recaptured After Walking Away From Transitional Housing

The Nevada Department of Corrections says the inmate who walked away from transitional housing in Las Vegas is now back in custody.

NDOC says its Inspector General's Office caught 51-year-old Roberto Munoz Thursday morning in Las Vegas. He was reported missing two days earlier.

Munoz originally arrived at the Nevada Department of Corrections from Washoe County last January.

He was serving a sentence of up to 12 years for grand larceny.

Now, additional charges are pending.
