Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo is endorsing Donald Trump in this year's presidential race.Â
Trump's campaign, Team Trump, posted the announcement on X on Thursday.Â
Trump is participating in Nevada's 'First in the West Caucus' on February 8, while the Secretary of State's Office will hold a presidential primary for Republican voters two days earlier.Â
A few hours later, the campaign then posted that Lt. Governor Stavros Anthony has also endorsed Trump.Â

The Nevada GOP has said it will only honor the results of their party-run caucus to choose the Republican presidential nominee, despite a 2021 state law that requires the Nevada secretary of state’s office to hold a presidential primary for the party.
Trump won the 2016 caucus; the 2020 caucus was canceled.
