The Nevada Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to some traffic changes coming to the Silver Springs area starting this week.
Stoppages will take place on U.S. 50 beginning Wednesday, February 19, as part of a NDOT highway improvement project.
Beginning tomorrow through late March, drivers will see single-lane closures and travel delays on U.S. 50 near the Lahontan River Campground.
A temporary signal will be alternating directions of traffic over the one-lane bridge while workers finish up reconstruction of the bridge.
The stoppages are scheduled to take place 24/7, and the speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph nearing the work zone.
