The White Pine County sheriff has identified the last of three inmates killed at Ely State Prison this past Tuesday.Â
The sheriff says 41-year-old Anthony Williams died "due to multiple sharp force injuries."Â
He was serving life in prison without the possibility of parole for being a habitual criminal, as well as open murder.
The investigation is ongoing.Â
Update, July 31 at 11:45 a.m.:
The White Pine County Sheriff's Office says they have identified two of the three inmates who died from injuries sustained in the fight that occurred at the Ely Prison on Tuesday, July 30 just after 9:30 a.m.
Detectives identified the two dead inmates as 43-year-old Zackaria Luz and 22-year-old Connor Brown. Â
The third dead inmate's identity is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
One of the dead inmates Connor Brown of South Lake Tahoe had been convicted and sentenced to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to two stabbings in April of 2022.Â

Three people are dead and nine are injured after a fight broke out at Ely State Prison.
According to the Nevada Department of Corrections, the fight happened on Tuesday, July 30.
No officers were injured or killed, but three offenders died and nine were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The prison is currently on lockdown.
The names of those who died have not yet been released, since the investigation is still ongoing.
