Search and Rescue Operation in Reno

Reno Fire, REMSA and Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue (TMFR) responded to River Flow Drive and River Front Drive near Mogul around 7:15 p.m. for a search and rescue operation. 

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue and Hasty teams also responded to the scene where a 14-year-old fell into the Steamboat Ditch. 

TMFR says they successfully extricated the patient around 8 p.m. when the juvenile was then transported to the hospital via Care Flight with non-life threatening injuries.
