A person has been arrested in connection with multiple brushfires that were started in west Reno last night.
A spokesperson for the Reno Fire Department says that while someone is in custody, the causes of the fires are still under investigation.
The fires threatened some structures but ultimately did not damage any.
Seven Reno Fire units responded to the fires, and Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue assisted in the response.
