The Reno Rodeo brings in tons of revenue from events, the carnival and food and drinks.
Local vendors also receive a huge benefit.
For this year, the rodeo extended the hours of the Double R Marketplace.
Coupled with that you have the new viewing party experience inside the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.
The rodeo says they wanted to do this to bring in more traffic for the vendors.
One business owner says they have been extremely busy.
"Business has been good," said Heather Creveling, Co-Owner of Keep it Dirty Get Outside. "It's whimsical in the fact that there's events going on and then we get a moment to breathe, and then hold on because here it comes again."
This is that first year the vendor has been at the rodeo.
The business is all based around getting outdoors more and staying off electronics.
The company is working on a foundation that would help kids get outside and learn how to ride a motorcycle, go fishing, or to ride a horse. However, here at the rodeo, they're selling a ton of merchandise.Â
Creveling says it's definitely been exhausting but rewarding.
"We're getting here early and staying late," she said. "We're taking care of our customers. So, that lack of sleep is probably the most challenging thing."
Another business is also feeling the same way.
If you are need of a new cowboy hat or want to spice yours up a bit look no further than Buck Off Boutique.
"If you have your own hat you want to gist up a little you can bring it in and we can do bands, burning, branding whatever you want," said Gina Lockhart, Owner of Buck Off Boutique.
The inception of Lockhart's business started four years ago.
She helped her friends out with their business, but then had a vision for her own.
"So, I started making rattle snakeskin hat bands, burning, and branding and it just took off from there and everyone wanted to start wearing them too," Lockhart said.
She's done most of her business online and through social media, but now, she has her own spot at the Reno Rodeo.
Her first time ever doing it alone.
"So, I've had an online store for a couple years now and it's just like I want to customize on the spot," Lockhart said. "Something to make it personal to you and instead of figuring out the online process, it's just easier to be in person and help you create it."
With it being her first rodeo, she says business has been going well so far.
She says the reputation she created from her online store translated into the Livestock Events Center.
"Love meeting everyone who's following me supporting me, all my hometown people coming out to see me and drive a couple hours," Lockhart said. "I just love all that support I get here."
She says keeping up with a business is not easy, especially with having to work the entire rodeo.
"I think staying off top of it, waking up every day and trying to be happy and nice and not let anything bring you down," Lockhart said. "We always try to bring the good vibes, every time."
