Sala Family Dentistry hosted its ninth annual Smiles for FREEdom event Friday, May 3.
Smiles for FREEdom is a nonprofit that allows dental offices to provide free dental care to veterans, service members and first responders.
The program began in Reno but has grown to become nationwide, providing over $2 million in free dental care.
There was a welcome ceremony at 7:30 a.m. which included a flag ceremony, national anthem, and brief remarks.
The dental services provided included diagnostic services, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and others based on individual needs.
