According to a release from the Washoe County Coroner's Office, the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on McCarran Blvd. near Plumb Ln. on Sunday has been identified.
46-year-old Scott Thoma, of Reno, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries due to a motorcycle-fixed object collision.

A motorcyclist is dead after a crash that happened on South McCarran Boulevard south of Plumb Lane.
The crash took place on Sunday, June 2 around 8 p.m.
The only vehicle involved was the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reno Police believe that speed may have been a factor in the crash. It is not clear if impairment was a factor.
People are asked to avoid McCarran Boulevard between Plumb Lane and Greensburg Circle. Police say the road will be closed, possibly for a few hours.
