A pedestrian is dead after authorities believe they were hit by a car in Winnemucca last Saturday morning. 

Winnemucca Police say officers found the victim, Frank Cambra dead near the intersection of East Winnemucca Blvd. and Reinhart Street around 1:15 a.m.

Police say they found an associated car nearby and say the driver is cooperating with the investigation. 

Police say as of right now, they don't know if Cambra was in the roadway or if he died due to injuries suffered in the crash.
