Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen are claiming new attacks on military facilities and airports in Saudi Arabia as the kingdom is pulled deeper into the latest front in the Iran war. The rebels said Wednesday they targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh using missiles and drones. The Houthis said they also targeted sensitive sites in several areas of southwestern Saudi Arabia near Yemen. Inside Yemen, the Houthis launched a missile strike on the airport in government-held Aden. The escalation has revived a devastating civil war in Yemen and the number of displaced people is rising quickly as fighting spreads.
