Yerington/Mason Valley Fire Protection District in an online post say they contained a brush fire in Mason, Wednesday evening.
Officials say they were able to quickly contain the flames, preventing them from spreading to the house and other outbuildings.
According to the post, power lines were damaged.
NV Energy was called to the scene to secure and repair the lines.
Multiple brush trucks, Tender 1, Engine 3 and other fire equipment responded. Â
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
