UPDATE:
NHP reports that the car chase ended near the Nugget on Interstate 80. The car was stopped by spike strips.
Two people were arrested, a male driver and female passenger, on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.
Multiple agencies are in a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 80.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, they are pursuing a red Chevy near mile marker 25 heading west. NHP says the car is traveling at around 70-75 MPH.
Multiple attempts to stop the vehicle, including spike strips, have been used.
The initial reason for the attempted stop is the vehicle not yielding properly.
Sparks Police, Washoe County, and Storey County are assisting in the pursuit.
