NHP Identifies Motorcyclist Killed in Geiger Grade Collision

Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers have identified a driver killed in a motorcycle collision Monday afternoon on Geiger Grade.

Troopers say a 2003 black Harley Davidson driven by 34-year-old Trenton Michael Perry of Reno was heading south on SR341 when he crossed the center lane into the north lane where he collided with a 2014 black Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 34-year-old Jerald Allen Bailey of Reno. Both riders were thrown from their bikes.

Perry was flown by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center where he later died.

Bailey was taken to Renown by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries and later released.

Troopers say the investigation remains ongoing. They add that area of SR341 a 45 mph speed zone with no roadway lighting.
