Proper Use of Booster Seats

For the first time ever, the Nevada Highway Patrol starts a child passenger safety training program.

Nevada troopers are making sure our children stay safe while traveling on Nevada highways.

By the end of the training officers will be certified to install and position varying car seats and booster seats for your child's specific height and weight. 

They are also required to pass written and practical exams. 

The main focus of the Nevada Highway Patrol is to reach "zero fatalities"

NHP will hold a "safety check" at the Walmart Super Center in South Carson on June 10th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. where they will inspect, install and replace car seats on a case by case basis.
