For the first time in its history, Night in the Country is completely sold out.  Ten thousand people bought tickets to the music festival in Yerington this weekend.

"It gets bigger and better as far as the experience for the fans, but we keep the size of the festival the same," said Justin Aguilar, Festival Director.   "It's been the same for the last five years; the fan experience is more important that trying to pack as many people out here as we can."

While they put a limit on the amount of people they let through the gates, there's always something new to add to the experience.

"New in the GA area we have 40,000 square feet of sod, we have some belly up bars is what we're calling them," Aguilar said.  "We have a second stage in the GA area this year, we had a poker tournament last night, and new this year also is a fun run we're doing Friday and Saturday morning."

Fans arrived as early as Wednesday to set up camp at the Lyon County Fairgrounds.

"This is our seventh year down here and we learned through the school of hard knocks how to keep our trailers relatively clean," said Tom Turk of Reno, who spent a good portion of Wednesday night setting up and taping down a big blue tarp at his camp.   "This is the Nevada ocean of blue if you will, in the desert.  We got in about nine o'clock and started tarping over, we have a swimming pool and a 20x30 canopy over here.   We have another three or four campers coming."

By day, there are events like mud volleyball, yoga, and beer relays.  By late afternoon, the music starts on three different stages.

"It's a rowdy good time and of course what a headliner crew," Turk said.   "Luke Combs and Brothers Osborne and all the locals - it's freaking amazing.  In Yerington!"
