Flights Resume at LAX After Computer Glitch Fixed

  TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) -- A transport minister in Taiwan now says 47 people are trapped and feared dead in the crash of a plane that was landing in stormy weather on a small island. 

He's quoted by the government's Central News Agency as saying another 11 people were hurt after the plane crashed and caught fire during its second landing attempt.

A fire chief had earlier been quoted as saying 51 people were dead.
