Olive Garden Delivers Food to First Responders

For 17 years now Olive Garden restaurants across the nation have shown their Italian generosity to our first responders and this year was no different.

Pasta covered in Alfredo sauce, spaghetti and meatballs, salads and bread sticks were all prepped, cooked and delivered to those who keep our community safe.

"Every Labor Day we bring out lunch for them and just show them that we really appreciate them and what they do and all the hard work that they put in day in and day out,” says manager Elizabeth Leist.

"I think they get a lot of flak for a lot of things and so we need to remember that they're serving us on a daily basis because they care about us."

Since 2002 Olive Garden has served more than 12,000 meals to first responders on Labor Day.
