A nice hike up to Fallen Leaf Lake before the big snow dump in early March, with views of Lake Tahoe and Mt. Tallac that rises to an elevation of 9,739'. You access the trail from Camp Richardson and it's a short hike to the lake. Bring your snowshoes after all the snow.
