NV Energy Replaces Equipment in Reno Outage; Birds Trip Line in Sparks

Power Outage

NV Energy is reporting a power outage in the Stead area near Mt. Anderson and parts of Cold Springs and Gomes Elementary School.

Nearly 3,900 customers were affected earlier in the morning, but now that number has dwindled down to less than 50. 

The cause remains under investigation.
