According to NV Energy's Outage Center, power in Washoe County has been restored.
Earlier, about 5,700 customers were affected, mostly due to an equipment failure.
Most of the customers in Washoe County were in the 89511 zip code area.
Other zip codes affected include 89501, 89502, 89509, 89520 and 89521.
