A Reno man faces several drug-related charges after he barricaded himself inside his apartment on Morrill Avenue on Friday.

Deputies say Kenneth Anderson held officers at bay, leading to lengthy SWAT standoff which closed 6th Street near Wells Avenue and Morrill for three hours. 

Ultimately, Anderson surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.

Detectives say they seized approximately 2.25 pounds of methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives also say they recovered 12 stolen guns.

Anderson is charged with several felony counts of drug possession and drug trafficking. Additional charges may be added as the investigation continues.
