The Reno Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a string of late night robberies in Reno.

Police say the suspect, 20-year-old Fidel Rodriguez, entered a 7-Eleven store wearing a bandanna over his face, demanding money. Authorities say the victim states Rodriguez simulated that he had a gun in his jacket pocket before fleeing the store.

About 30 minutes later, police say Rodriguez entered the Chevron, located at 350 S. Arlington, and committed a second robbery.

Just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, authorities say Rodriguez then went and committed a third, and final, robbery at the Chevron, located at 700 N. Sierra Street.

Police officials say Rodriguez committed the three robberies using the same method, demanding money and hinting towards having a gun.

Reno officers say they watched Rodriguez at 9th Street and N. Virginia Street and detained him.

Police say, at the time of his arrest, Rodriguez was armed with a .380 caliber handgun and was wearing the same clothes as seen in all three surveillance footage.

Rodriguez is currently booked into the Washoe County Jail and faces three charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, three burglary charges, and a charge for carrying a concealed weapon.
