UPDATE: Reno Police say they located 70-year-old Carol Helsing-Cokely early Monday morning and safely returned her home. Police say she was not hurt.
The Reno Police Department (RPD) is asking for help locating a missing and endangered member of the community.
They say 70-year-old Carol Helsing-Cokely was last seen in her retirement home located at 1555 Beech Street, on August 14, 2020, around 8 p.m.
RPD says Helsing-Cokely has no family in the Reno area but is known to frequent the homeless community.
They say Helsing-Cokely reportedly leaves the retirement home on occasion but usually returns within an hour.
Carol is described as being about 5’2”, 150 lbs, having blonde hair and blue eyes. RPD does not have a description of the clothes she was wearing.
RPD says Carol suffers from medical conditions which place her in danger to herself if untreated.
