The Reno Police Department says found a woman who was possibly hit by a car near North Virginia Street and Talus Way on Thursday evening.

Officials said around 8:25 p.m., an officer noticed a lump in the road and found a woman lying there, conscious, alert and breathing.

They said she was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officials said it appears to be a hit-and-run, but they have no suspect vehicle description at this time.

They said roads in there area have since reopened.

The Reno Police Department says the investigation is ongoing.
