The Reno Police Department says crews responded to a crash at Keystone Avenue and West Second Street on Tuesday evening.

Officials said two cars were involved and one initially fled the scene. They said that driver was eventually located and they came back.

Officials said they believe the car might have been a red light violation, but it's unclear which vehicle did it at this time.

They said one occupant was taken to the hospital and is under assessment.

Officials said the car that fled crashed through a fence and hit a parked car in the area.

They expect Keystone Avenue to be closed from Second Street to First Street for the next hour or so.

Drivers should seek alternate routes until further notice.

This is a developing story.
